Brian graduated from Barry University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. He is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Addicttion Therapist, Certified Addiction Professional, and an EMDR Trained Clinician. Brian's areas of specialization encompass a wide range of addictions, including sex addiction and cyber addiction. He is also well-versed in trauma-informed therapy, family systems, codependency, enmeshment, partner betrayal trauma, as well as personality and character disturbance.
With over 16 years of hands-on clinical experience in the field of behavioral health care, Brian has amassed a wealth of expertise. His career includes serving as a substancce abuse counselor within forensic and correctional settings for the State of Florida. In this role, Brian offered invaluable assistance to residents struggling with severe mental illnesses, helping them acquire the necessary skills and resources for their recovery.
Brian's career also saw him hold the esteemed position of Deputy Chief Clinical Officer at The Cabin, the largest addiction treatment group in Asia. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the staff and services of a 120-bed residential program, as well as managing six intensive outpatient clinics located internationally. In his most recent role as Clinical Director of a residential treatment center in Florida, Brian played a pivotal role in guiding the facility's transformation from a substance abuse program to become a specialized behavioral health facility addressing trauma, depression, thoughts disorders, and various other mental health disorders. Brian's leadership and expertise were instrumental in managing this significant shift.
Brian's commitment to his work is unwavering, as he has devoted his life to it. His primary focus lies in collaborating with individuals and their family members who possess a genuine drive for transformation and are prepared to undertake the challenging process of change. Brian firmly believes that, regardless of whether one feels powerless to quit or lacks clarity on where or how to initiate change, they can discover inner peace and liberation through the power of connection and the support of others.
